Catch the Moment Week 26

Life has been busy which means the blog has been quiet.
Jumping right back in with Week 26 of Catch the Moment.
These last seven days included congratulatory flowers from the sweetest person in honour of my contract and VERY OWN CLASSROOM next year, the last day of school, helping friends move, brunch, Canada Day, Grandma sleepovers and cousin visits. Summer is going to fly by at this rate.

Catch the Moment Week 18

Week 18 was just a regular week with a first birthday thrown in. I celebrated this Mother's Day no longer being the mother to a baby. Good thing I know that little ones get better and better with each passing month. I no longer wish for them to be little, except in the occassional moment where I want a newborn to snuggle. The entertainment and joy they bring me each day far outweighs my desire for them to stay little.

Catch the Moment Week 17

Another week(ish) of my Project 365 has gone by. Just little moments of our every day lives. We were able to spend more time outside, until it got cold and snowed again. Spinning in the kitchen, shark books and library trips. Ella is finally brave enough to go in grass with bare feet. Celebrating new life and some huge transitions (more about that in a later post).  Number 126 is my favourite by just a little.

Catch the Moment Week 16

Yet another week of the year is gone! Except for the weekend I relied pretty heavily on my iPhone to capture our days. Oh how I long to upgrade to an iPhone 5! I'm making it a priority this week to use my DSLR.

Zoey was looking incredibly cool during our Ikea wanderings on Friday. Jeans and converse are my favourite!

Ella enjoy her easter presents while Zoey looks at them longingly.

Ella pulled out these oranges from the fruit bowl and counted "One-two-three-four!"

Jelly bean hunting at mama and papa's.

The edge of the tub only got fuller after I took this photo.

The girls are starting to play together, even though it mostly involves Zoey destroying the things Ella makes.

Ella was very focused on "fixing" her bandaids on her ankle.

Thursday required some x-rays to see if there is a reason Ella is waking up screaming about her legs.

Friday ended with jello and relaxing on the couch.

As always, check out the link up to see other Catch the Moment 365 Projects!

Catch the Moment Week 15

Once again my numbers don't exactly match up with the week but at least this time they include the proper week. Spring was here and now its snowing again so there's that.

Making Saturday morning pancakes.

First taste of spring and puddle jumping this year.

Oh look it's warm enough to go out in just a sweatshirt.

Zoey needs to get in on the action every once in a while. This also happened to be my 10,001st picture on my camera!

Won't be needing the sprinkler for a while, the snow is taking care of the watering again for us...

There is a special sort of joy when mom lets you jump on the bed...

Matching nightgowns for her and Dora.

Zoey FINALLY enjoys her baths. And has awesome Ella styled hair to show for it.

Celebrating Papa's birthday. Zoey is just so excited she can't help but squeeze her own cheeks.

My dad did this to me when I was little and I have a very similar picture of me. When Ella found the tensor bandage and said, "What's this?" I knew exactly what was going to happen.

Magic carpet rides in the kitchen.

I feel like this is a preview to her teenage scowl.

Don't forget to check out the link up!

Catch the Moment 365: Week 14

Okay so my week in no way matches up with the current week but I'm just going with it.
These photos includes all our spring break shenanigans. Plus some running on the couch, which is only allowed when mommy wants a picture...
