2. What is your weather like right now?: Really freakin hot!!!! 33 Celsius
3. Where will you be this weekend?: Was at a country bar and Jackie's last night, Brad's house tonight.
4. What's for dinner?: Tacos and chocolate milkshakes for dessert.

Party Time

So far the weekend has been great. Lots of shopping (spending money that I shouldn't) and spending time with my best friend. We went to a country bar last night which was pretty enjoyable. I knew most of the country songs so it was fun to sing along.
I miss pizza. Everyone (but me) had pizza after the bar last night. I had a banana. It was good in terms of it was way healthier but damn I wanted that pizza. I'll have to find a gluten free crust and make my own.

Friday Fill In

Found at Fond of Snape

1. Yesterday I was trying to make soft pretzels, unsuccessfully.
2. Today I am planning to read, play piano and go out later.
3. Tomorrow I will be doing pretty much the same thing as today.
4. Someday I'm going to have my PhD
5. I will never go BASE jumping.
6. I might make a mud pie.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to seeing my friends, tomorrow my plans include being lazy and Sunday, I want to play some tennis!

Weekend

Since I haven't been working for the last month Fridays are no longer such an exciting day. Except of course because it means all my friends are done work for the week and the fun times can begin.
As of yet we have no plans but I know that will change so I'm not worried.
I've learned a couple things recently. The first being I like playing piano. I hated the lessons and the practicing and therefore quit after a ridiciously short time but now almost ten years later I enjoy it. And I have also learned that gluten free pasta is not so good the next day. It gets gritty and nasty. Oh and making bread type products with a mix of flours that don't include gluten is not easy. My soft pretzels ended up looking like little white piles of poo. And had the texture of chewy chalk. Not so pleasant.

Villainous

Since I love reading so much...

Found at Booking It Through Thursday

Who’s the worst fictional villain you can think of? As in, the one you hate the most, find the most evil, are happiest to see defeated? Not the cardboard, two-dimensional variety, but the most deliciously-written, most entertaining, best villain? Not necessarily the most “evil,” so much as the best-conceived on the part of the author…oh, you know what I mean!

The only "villain" I can think of at the moment is Crake from Atwood's Oryx and Crake. While its debatable if he intended to be villainous or merely was doing what he thought was beneficial to humanity I think he intended to cause harm to some extent. He is in no way 2 dimensional, especially as you learn more about his childhood. Crake brings up the age old "nature vs nurture" arguement as we wonder whether he is truly evil or if his upbringing causes his actions .

Re-re-restart

I miss blogging. I miss writing. I miss this.
So I think I might be back. At least for a while!

Neglected

This poor site gets neglected.
One day it'll get better.
Probably not today.
