April brought the exciting new opportunity to be part of the brand new creative team for Bee Tree Studios. I was looking for to bring some colour back into my pages and this has been the perfect way to push myself creatively while getting some fun, new products to play with!
Looking back to my March post I had hoped to finish four more weeks. I didn't finish four weeks but I do have 8 more spread done. I've been hopping around between weeks a bit!
What I'm Loving:
My monthly format and the ability to have more than one two-page spread per week. It's going to be a thick book this year!
I still struggle to balance simplicity with adding a bit of colour and embellishment but I'm finding my happy medium. Having a single kit at a time to work from is making that easier for me.
The Pocket Source. I no longer browse the #projectlife hashtag on Instagram now that I have the Pocket Source to look through! I enjoying looking at layouts more than scrapbooking things people have bought, New York project housing or people showing off their abs (all things I have encountered with the #projectlife hashtag...) and The Pocket Source Gallery is all layouts!
What I'm Not Loving:
I'm no where near being "caught up" for the year. The monthly format is actually taking me longer because I have so much more I want to include. I do think it will be better in the long run because I won't have to go back and make supplementary books to fill in the holes like I will for the previous couple years.
This Month:
Colour, colour, colour! I'm aiming to get some colour back in my pages! And because I live for dichotomy, I want to do an all black and white spread a la Stephanie.
Please be sure to visit everyone else in the blog circle starting with Jenny.

Bee Tree Studios Creative Team
I'm so excited to be a part of my very first Creative Team! I joined the Bee Tree Studio team earlier this month and we've been preparing for the launch of Stephanie's new store!
You'll see a few of her previous kits on the 3rd for the monthly Project Life Blog Circle but here are some sneaks at her brand new kits launching today!
Spring in Bloom Kit
I'm seriously in love with the floral paper in this kit! Which is a very odd thing for me to say so you know they're good. And how adorable are the little round buttons?
The "hello spring" card almost worked with our weather, we have a bit of green grass. Of course two days after this layout was completed it snowed again.
These are only a FRACTION of the lovely spring cards, papers and embellishments in the Spring in Bloom collection. Please go check out Stephanie's brand new store! The grand opening is coinciding with National Scrapbook Day so you know there is going to be some amazing deals!

2014 Project Life Blog Circle- March
In March, I’ve managed to get a few more pages done. I’m still quite a few weeks “behind” but I’m trying to not think like that! I will get these memories put together eventually and I’m constantly taking pictures and occassionally journalling so I’m keeping up just in a different way!
What I’m Loving:
I’ve continued to keep my simple look with lots of white space. I still love my white space!
The monthly format. I’m loving the flexibility to have my pictures spread out over more than just one spread for every week. I like the idea of a fuller book at the end of the year.

What I’m Not Loving:
I’m feeling a bit bored with my lack of colour in my journal cards. I’m just not sure how to get over the competing colours in my photos and adding coloured journal cards to that just seems like too much!
This Month:
I’m hoping to get at least 4 more weeks done. It is spring break this week so hopefully I’ll have a little bit extra time. My bestie and I are trying to set weekly PL dates which is definitely helping with getting my layouts done.

2014 Project Life Blog Circle- February
I’ve defintely had a slow start to the new year with my Project Life. I currently only have up to week three done. I’m still taking lots of pictures but have slowed down on the documentation.
Nothing new about my layouts either. Lots of photos, captions, white space and a some patterned papers. Templates are all my own and the paper I used for the “filler cards” came from the For the Love of… Digiscrap Parade.
Please head on over to Jenny’s blog to see her layouts. Don’t forget to continue all the way around the blog circle!
